Abstract:
Over the years, the University of Zambia (UNZA) library has been able to provide its services to
students and other patrons physically without any major difficulties. But since the emergence of
the covid-19 pandemic which hit the world early this year, students were directed to leave
campus and go back home for their own safety which meant that they had to embrace total
dependency on ICTs to access library services. ICT facilities have been put in place to facilitate
electronic service delivery; however, it is not clear if these ICTs were indeed helpful to patrons
and if patrons’ needs were adequately served using ICTs during the pandemic.
