dc.description.abstract Student management is one of the core activities for higher education institutions (HEIs). Management of institutions are said to be effective only if students’ satisfaction with the institutional provided services be prioritized. To achieve this, there is need for learning institutions to ensure that there is less or no challenges associated with the students’ use of services provided them. The 21st century’s spread of technology has made the management of students effective and easy for most learning institutions, if not all. Institutions have managed to do so with the help of information management systems (IMS). Despite the effective management of student related information, a few HEIs have taken interest in addressing the challenges with which students struggle during their use of certain institutional services. Different institutions have different services with which students struggle when accessing them. Our study will explore the challenges associated with the students’ use of the current traditional mode of applying for withdrawal and readmission, and develop a web based system, student withdraw/readmission system (SWRS) as a solution to the explored challenges. en_US
